Friends Forever

Here is a look at the fun that we’ve had;
In a couple of years there will be more to add.
Through laughter, tears, strengths and fears
A link to our friendship quickly appears.

From necklaces, earrings, bracelets and clothes
To perfume and makeup and painting our toes.
We like to sing songs and take walks in the park,
Yet, we like to be cool and play tag in the dark.

There’s a memory behind every laugh, grin and smile.
They get larger and louder with each passing mile.
Since we have no idea what our futures will hold,
We will stay close together as we quickly grow old.

I pray that we never loose sight of our fun,
But, that we will stay strong until this life is done.
As we move closer still, oh please let it be known,
That I love my good friend Jess Timbone.

We have since parted ways, but the Lord blessed the relationship we once had.
